The no drinks rule-

I've lost a computer to a spilt drink. Yet I still do it. I mean, gotta have 2 hands to game. Beer has to go somewhere!

Was it a good computer?

I don't have a no drinks policy, although I mostly drink water in a bottle that I can close or coffe in huge mugs [3-4 nespresso capsules regular size coffees] so they are quite hard to knock over.

 

I have lost a 2000€ laptop to coffee and my ancient G15 to cherry juice and I soaked my mechanical keyboard in coffee.

The blame goes in the following order: Cat, Brother, Cat... The mech keyboard survived flawlessly though :D

Frost upon these cigarettes.... lipstick on the window pane...

Eventhough it was really expensive, the ASUS G-Series laptops are really better off in the trash. Parts for the new PC were in the mail and arrived the next day, sooo ya, could have been worse =P

no i don't have a no drinks rule. infact i always have a drink next to me at my desk and my whisky collection sits on a shelve above my desk :)

but saying that at work i have a strict "no drinks in the workshop" rule.

Sadly it was. But things happen. It was also my first built machine so the sentimental value was a little high. Oh well.

No, but I have to find a spare piece of desk to put a glass on.

I eat and drink right next to my pc for 4 years and have never spilled. Gpu coaster is right text to my tower.

i use a heavy cup 

(1) high frame rate (2) ultra graphics settings (3) cheap...>> choose only two<<...

 

if it's never been done then i'm probably tryna do it. (((((((Bass so low it HERTZ)))))))

funny store about 10 min ago my keyboard was in bit thanks to my bro spilling coke over it. so far only 1 button is not working :(

I couldn't run LFR in WoW without a stiff drink, so no. Scotch and G&T are the current favourites.

PC is underneath desk so yes I have drinks on my desk.

My PC is about 5 feet away from me, I have a really big desk, so I have no worries with drinks :)

I have infact used my 1000 e laptop for cupholder while using it. Im carefull though

I have only lost one keyboard due to a drink spilling. It wasn't even mine xD. I am very careful and it is now second nature to me now, after doing so for 14+ years.

Drinks are allowed but only in a drink bottle or massive glass. (I use a German beer glass.)

Who here has a no drinks policy around thier computer? ....i do!

I have a rule for my son and that is he must always put the drink on the side where the pc tower is not.

 

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S
