Has anyone updated ? Any problems ?

Sign up for the Android beta program and Nougat will appear in seconds. After it's updated remove your device from the Android beta program.

You might want to remove yourself from the beta program so you don't get developer previews installing automatically in the future. Since your on a stable release this doesn't wipe your device.

More information on all the new features can be found at https://www.android.com/versions/nougat-7-0/

How am I supposed to reverse it back???

If it is not broken, let's fix till it is.

As long as you have your stuff backed up.

You may opt-out of the program at any time to return to the stable, public version of Android. Note: If you opt-out when your device is running a beta version of Android, all user data on the device will be wiped.

Sources seem to indicate it will be January or February before Samsung devices start to get N, and even then it will begin with the N7 and S7 and work down from there. Of course these are just guesses and no one actually knows for sure.

Still I don't expect my M8 to get it at all, thank god for rooting :)

Well one can hope for a speedy update. But it does make sense for the N7 and S7 to get N first, but it'll hopefully only be a month or two the S6 will be behind the N7 and S7.

The prospect that Nougat could slow my phone down significantly.

I only saw performance improvements moving from Android 4.1.1 to 5.5.1, then 6.0.1, so it shouldn't be slowed down (Transformer Prime TF201 BTW).
