Maybe, if the source is neutral, but this could be a power play by one of the world powers, if so no one is stopping this until it's all said and done. Additionally the US doesn't like the current regime so even if they are not involved why would they lift a finger if the outcome benefits them.

Not just the US that could respond, although I do agree that the US only cares about their own interest

CNN Turk is reporting on a clash between the civilians and the soldiers. Soldiers opened fire at the Bosphorus Bridge. Details incoming.

Will keep reporting on this, military firing on ciivilians would end up in foreign powers getting involved, imo

It wouldn't

Who doesn't this benefit, it benefits the EU, Russia, and the US, the only people it doesn't is ISIS since if the country is under military rule it can be more offensive against antagonists.

Really if we were going to detonate them - I'd say move them to the southern border.  You know the funny thing about all this?  I'm wondering what could happen in 2017!  I mean--globally we're heading toward a really, really -fun- few decades.

Well yeah storing them in an unstable country wasn't a great idea. Maybe storing them closer to our European allies like in France or Germany. Or storing them in the US.

Are you a Christian by any chance?

If so, you'll understand what I mean by the Ottoman empire healing itself of its wound and rising back into power. Then they'll wage war on Israel, and form an alliance with other nations, at least that's what I think.

Not saying this is in any way desirable, but there are some people who would like that idea

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

I find all historical events to be fun, though it is definitely scary.  This is effectively a global melting point, and the pot is likely to tip over any day now.  If the earlier reports that there were Russian forces assisting military in the coup - this would have some massive ramifications for the future.  The EU is dissolving day by day, referendums are popping up, Britain made the best decision of its life, the US is about to have the most important election since the 80s, Islamic terrorism is at an all time high, and nationalism is on the rise. Putin is Putin.  Really, that is all you can say about Putin.  Oh, yeah, and I guess China and the military action they're taking in the south china sea is also a thing.

Really turmoil and war are getting -really- close.  It's fun, because it's going to be hard, it's going to be meaningful and culture, society, life, maybe even economic theory and the ways of the world will change as these events shape hearts and minds.  Participation and history.
