I googled it and edited my post, yeah it is an h-bomb. I guess it was the most powerful nuclear bomb ever detonated to date.

it was designed for 100MT, but they only dared to test 50MT, because at 100MT, the plane they used to drop it wouldnt be able to escape the blast.

The explosion at 50Mt was barely possible for the bomber to escape

If it was detonated over Minneapolis, it would affect quite a lot of people.
