Well, first step is done.  all cores at 4ghz with no voltage bump, +281 on multicore and -2 on single core for some reason, need to look into that

I'm using offset Vcore for daily ~ idle: 0.86 V ~ full load: 1.40 V  <- software report (not same as setting 1.40 V manual in bios)

I didn't do super extensive testing for this, tried a range of voltages and then primed for a couple of hours + added a bit more voltage for some safety margin. It's been stable for daily at these voltages for quite a while.

After 4.6 GHz I really need to start upping the voltage harder. I consider 4.7 GHz the highest I would run 24/7...

This is an aging chip, but it still does nicely. I think I have slightly degraded it from some of my crazier OC attempts though :D

After a bunch of small issues I finally did a clean install of win 10.  Here are my benches.   Videocard currently at stock settings.   CPU has a modest OC, 4.3 Ghz.

Found a used E5-1650 for $70. It has been used for 5 years in a pre-built workstation (Dell T3600), but never overclocked. Is this a good deal? Do you think it can push 4,9-5GHz after being used that much?

Yes. It will have been run at stock af speeds and it's a good deal.
