Damn I hate Ivy-E

Its basically anything older that clocks very differently. I have had a difference of over 800 MHz (4000-4800) at 1.4V on some x58 Xeons...

Xeon e5649@4.4 GHz on Asus Rampage II Extreme or Gigabyte x58a-OC (whatever I feel like to set up at a time) , 6x4 GB Kingston HyperX 1600, Gainward GTX 670 Phantom, Samsung 840 Evo 240 GB, BeQuiet L8 530W

Come on this isn't even xmp. That takes 3 seconds to enable xD you should be able to get over 1400cb once you overclock, unless you are using the stock cooler.

4.2 GHz :), Sorry I didn't take a snapshot that time. I have disabled XMP profile. I think 2400mhz is the max it can go. I didn't check.

ok :) 2400mhz is very slow. according to intel the minimum speed you should have on memory is 2666. even with 128gb :(

Yes slow but is it very  slow?. The difference between a 2400 vs 3200 can be noticeable but not significantly between 2666 n 2400. But the $ you pay is noticeable very much.  :)

My shitty attempt. I hit a brick wall at 4Ghz, had to go to 1.45v instead of just 1.4v.. I also have a fluctuating BCLK problem which kind of affects my scores.

disable "Spread Spectrum" wherever it is and that should take care of it.
