Which r9-290x will you being getting.

Well since I'm going with the 280 none, if I had the cash then probably the msi or asus. I don't really care for maxing out next gen titles so I'll be fine with the 280

800 AU is $728 which conversion based on cost of living is roughly 350 dollars US.  Man that's cheap

assuming all the benchmarks are good and it is indeed what amd says it is I have a slight lean to msi at this point but I would not buy a reference card, I would wait for a frozr version.

I'm getting the first dual GPU card. I don't think Maxwell will be that great to wait for that... Then again, if green release something more powerful than the dual GPU before the Dual GPU gets release then I'll get that

As a CAN resident, if I was going with an AMD card it would be MSI. They're the only vendor with Canadian RMA support, the alternatives for VGA are all cross-border, which ramps up shipping costs and almost always ends up with border hassles on the return.

I'll get one which is silent and gives me lot's of OC headroom, maybe a reference PCB with a custom cooler if a company even produces something like that.
