Question. i7 14700k

I just upgraded to a 14700k  and iv noticed the Ecores when benching/stressing dont hold 100%...

The temps are good with nothing hitting over  90 on each core/packet.. i have a 800watt psu.. that should be ok for this and the rx7800xt..

and theres no issues while gaming... just found it weird and was thinking i might be leaving some on the table...
Iv tried tinkering with power setting in bios and bumping everything up to the 253 limit.. still the same thing

ideas?

mobo= GIGABYTE B760M DS3H DDR4

This board is one of gigabyte's lower end boards, I would wager that the power delivery may not be up to snuff to sustain that absolute highest level of turbo.

As you mentioned, in gaming it's not an issue which is a much more dynamic load, not as much pressure for constant turbo speeds.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

This is going to be the culprit, you're pairing an unlocked i7 with a budget B760 board. You're essentially crippling your CPU. I'd recommend getting a Z790 motherboard. If you are in the US the Z790 Gigabyte Eagle AX has been on sale for around $185 the last couple weeks. It's a solid board I've used in a couple of builds. Alternatively, there is the ASROCK Z790 Lightning which is pretty much the cheapest you can get a Z790 with WiFi built in if that's a must for you, I've had pretty solid experiences with ASROCK in recent years. If you'd like to see all of your options, use PCPartPicker and input the rest of your system components to ensure you find the right board.

Not if your gaming experience is up to your standards. Like I said, the turbo speeds are a lot more flexible in a load like that.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

This board has a very bad VRM on it, and because of that it will power throttle when used at full load. That said, it should just be downclocking the cores, not reducing their usage. That would lead me to believe that this is more likely that the stress tests/benchmarks you're using aren't using the E cores correctly, which while uncommon, does still happen from time to time nowadays.
