ive had good experience with sapphire and i like their cooler design, so i voted sapphire. this is despite the fact i might not even be getting an amd card in my next rig!

May wait and see how it compares to my 780's and what the final price is, and how the crossfire through motherboards works or w/e they were supposed to do (i havent been on the forums or read anything since the announcement of the card so I'm far behind on if benchmarks/ price/specs have been uploaded/changed etc)

depending on how well they are/price I may sell my 780s and buy them, but probably not, prob gna wait for maxwell

My verdict is still out, I may get another 780 for SLI or just keep my single one. I want to see how some of the console ports do with mantle....if there is a landslide difference I'll switch.

I think I'll wait for the R9-280X just for Mantle support, for me it looks like a better deal if the rumored price ($300) won't be very diffirent in my country, getting 2 would destroy the 290X. I have very good experience with MSI TF III on my 660, so my next GPU will probably feature TF IV (Gaming edition card to match my board), TriFrozr only if it isn't too pricy and they adapt the design to the Gaming brand.

wow so much support for Asus. I was expecting more for sapphire since most say its the best manufacturer for amd cards.

Personally I voted Asus because their warranty repair centre is like 10 minutes from my home, and although technically you still need to ship it to them, they didn't refuse me when I dropped by with my laptop.

As a CAN resident, if I was going with an AMD card it would be MSI. They're the only vendor with Canadian RMA support, the alternatives for VGA are all cross-border, which ramps up shipping costs and almost always ends up with border hassles on the return.

Asus has a repair centre in Ontario who are very nice people. So its not only msi.
