Well, it has been officially confirmed. zMeul has blocked half of the LTT forum members because they've proven him wrong. What an exciting debate culture, isn't it?

It's kinda like when as a kid, you'd play with your friend and when he was about to lose he ripped the controller out of your hands or shut off the Playstation so you couldn't win. That's the kinda guy he is.

 

Also, while he won't be able to read this: common sense dictates that if you feel like one person acts like an asshole, then that person is probably an asshole. If you find that everyone acts like an asshole, you're probably the asshole.

$120. $120. Say it with me. You can get, as demonstrated in this thread, a VRR monitor for $120 for running games between 30 and 60 FPS without stuttering. That's not $300. By that logic you need to pay $800 to get G-Sync monitors if we are taking the expensive monitors as being the regular/average price. Or you need to pay $1,000,000 to get a car. Or any other example of ignoring everything else but the one piece of evidence that confirms your statement.

Sure i totaly wont argue with that.

There are also reviewers who manipulate benchmarks.

Thats why we allways see diffrent numbers on diffrent sources.

But also not every reviewer will test on the same hardware.

The factual numbers can allways be taken with a grain of salt basicly,

because every system is diffrent and will perform diffrent.

Thats why i personaly dont care about gpu overclocked benchmarks atall.

Because every gpu is diffrent, you can have two the exact same cards, one can be a great overclocker, the otherone could be a lemon.

But with compairing numbers from multiple sources does gives us a rough image from what kind of performance we could expact out of these cards.

People should allways look at numbers objectivaly.

I like how you quoted me, then proceeded to remove the part of my quote that referenced a FreeSync monitor that is $120 USD, and then bitch about spending "upwards of $300" on a monitor.

 

Do you willfully ignore the full context of other people's posts? I specifically addressed the 2nd half of what you said, saying that there were indeed QUITE CHEAP options available for FreeSync, WELL UNDER $300. In fact, LESS THAN HALF OF $300.

 

But regardless, I still even disproved your entire point. 50 fps STABLE will not be stuttery or have a lot of tearing. Yes there will be some extremely small amounts of tearing because your monitor is being fed 50 fps on 60 hz, but most people don't even notice.

 

What is way more noticeable is unstable fps, regardless of what those fps actually happen to be. If your fps is jumping up and down a lot, you'll get tearing and stutter. If it's smooth and stable (within a few fps of each other), you won't notice much tearing at all.

He'll only reply if he has found something to counter with but the only thing he could possibly say here is that either it's somehow impossible to actually get the monitor at the listed price or that it's horrible. Neither seems to be the case though so consider yourself ignored to the best of his ability.

 

Actually interesting monitor. It's listed as having 75 Hz refresh rate meaning that low framerate compensation is supported making it an even better buy.

Possibly, but this is entirely about AMD products here.

 

NVIDIA is always a premium, and the cheapest one is $379.99, although this is at 24" 144hz.

So $150 more than the AMD 144hz 24" version.
