The leaked test system was running with i7-6700K

My system is running a 5820K @ 4.20GHz

So I disabled CF and compiled a little result comparison

what does not make sense to me is that 3DMark recognizes the GPU with a proper RX 480 name...

 

also there seemed to be at least two different score sets for both Ultra and Extreme, which differed by 100~200 points possibly stock and overclocked???

I picked the highest scores from the leak...

It's probably fake. The drivers are too early, before the name was finalized.

apparently they indeed have the card, hence the hype and the pictures

but I doubt they have working drivers, so it's probably a paper weight...

Clock speed is confirmed to be 300mhz, according to my leaks, you can OC this card to 2.7ghz from 300mhz stock.

More interested how every single one has a backplate. For $200-ish.

 

Small update: Those seem to be XFX cards. Some other cards, like from Sapphire, will also include a backplate but a oretty mich smaller one.

300MHz base clock...? OC to 2.7GHz when the 1080 cant even get that high...?

I hope that reference card is actually decent and available to buy. If so, getting an 8GB model for sure. The reference card would be great for my SFF build, not to mention it's SEXY AF.

Err clearly the nvidia logo on the pics shown originally, mean it is indeed a 480, PCB has holes to disspate more.
