Are Cloud 2's worth the $50 over the Cloud Core?

I need new headphones and of course I fist went to the hyperX cloud line and I saw the Cloud 1's and 2's were just above my budget ($90 CAD) and the Core (50 CAD) was was under. I know the differences are the Cloud 2's hasve a slighty better mic, better leather, and a USB soundcard, and 7.1 Surround. Is it worth $50 more? I'm coming from. TB P11's. I'll be using the for mostly gaming and some music. Thanks!

I love my cloud 2s except for that garbage USB amp thing. I threw that away so fast and got a channel splitter. They sound a million times better without that thing. It adds static, distortion, way too loud, and the 7.1 sounds like trash. Other then that they have by far the best sounding and are very comfortable

Oh well he agreed with me when he said that it was bad. I could imagine if it was proper with grounding, it's own power and some decent internals but then it would be too expensive and called an amp

it will be called a amp and dac combo, because it is usb and you need a dac to make the digital signal analog. It would also not make much sense getting let us say a 100$ combo for so "low budget" headsets/headphones because better headphones/headset will make a bigger difference, unless you have some serius problems with onboard.

Well I use them only with analog because they sound 100% better
