CLOS3 IMPACT-Finished...final pics!

An old Canon 350d.

 

Sturdy old girl she is too,not bad for a 5MP CMOS.

A skilled photographer can make very nice pics even with not-so-

high-spec cameras. I've seen some shots made with phone cams which

were pretty darn incredible.

Having said that, the results one can get when putting good equipment

and skill together can be simply stunning, and macro lenses have very

awesome potential from what I've seen (I think lowfat on OCN has one?

Very nice pics in his threads usually IMHO).

Anyway, my point being: Looking forward what you will do with such

a lens. :)

Definitely, good lighting is key. You can throw the most

expensive lenses and sensors at the problem, if you don't

have good lighting, results are unlikely to be satisfactory

IME.

And good luck with that backplate.

I've gone a bit silly on ebay buying up lighting stuff.

 

Its probably crap but its good for me. $80 got me a 1.8m x 2.7m white and back backdrop with 2 lights (150w/5500k) on stands and diffusers. Also bought a 80cm cube light tent... :S

Its probably crap but its good for me. $80 got me a 1.8m x 2.7m white and back backdrop with 2 lights (150w/5500k) on stands and diffusers. Also bought a 80cm cube light tent... :S

$80?? Can I have a link? Or was it a one time thing?

eBay is great for that kind of thing IMHO, bought quite a bit of

studio lighting stuff there as well. Sure, quality may not always

be the best, but for home use it's pretty great for the price.

 

And let's be honest, lots of stuff you can buy locally for many

$$$ likely comes off the same manufacturing lines anyway, just

maybe a bit bettter QC (if even that).

The wiring is all done bar the flow meter,only the back plate,the last of the plumbing and the last of the graphics....So close I can taste it.

Lots of transitional colour states with different lighting,half lighting makes for weird effects.

And something for the SSD...that will never be seen,,,,,Im wondering if I should get the full door window instead....

I woke up at 4am with the thought of how much I hate it...I made the noob mistake of getting all excited and just doing it rather than taking my time and getting it right...


Stripping off 3M film is a nightmare,the glue is soooo good. However,stripping it at 4am is worse....still its done now and the paint wasnt damaged like last time,the glue must not have grabbed properly.


Now back to the design board....thinner,subtle lettering rather than the block I had before...

No problem,I have a talented guy that can edit something together. i am the cameraman tho which means poor video.
