People will find a way. My dad never listens to music on his iPhone for what it's worth.

 

Me, i listen to music almost every day.  So if i was interested in buying an iPhone (which i am absolutely not) Then i would definitely not buy it.

 

I always wanted to see which company would dare remove all physical ports and everything. Wireless charging, Wireless audio (probably Bluetooth) and have sim cards built in.

Judge a product on its own merits AND the company that made it.

I love these online petionions. They have no actual say in what happens. I guess it brings attention too the issue, but still, there is no power behind them.

I don't understand why everyone is treating this like it's a fact. Unless there's been a legitimate leak from Apple (doubtful), we have no hard evidence of them removing the jack.

Right. A majority of the time those people haven't even used an iPhone.

 

I have used them on multiple occasions and if the UI wasn't so clunky (to me) compared to Android I would switch if I could.

There's conjecture that a lot ofrumors are just controlled "leaks" from companies that want to test the waters. For example, imagine if Apple purposefully leaked the iPhone 6's larger screen. If people reacted positively, then they could have adjusted their design to make the iPhone 6 bigger. If people really hated it, then the iPhone 6 could have been the same old 4" Game Boy Color like form factor of the 5S and before.

Remember back when we could go out for an entire day and still get home with half of our phone's battery remaining? Now we carry battery banks whenever we go out.

Actually I can do that with my S5 if I turn on battery savings (which I do always) and start the day at 100% (I swap out the battery every morning)

Use your phone like a dumb phone, data off, text and calls only. You'll be going days without charging.

Same applies to those "old phones" use it in the same manner you use a smartphone, it'll go maybe 3 or 4 hours.

I don't understand why people are getting so up in arms about this, if a product changes direction and you're unhappy with the changes then just buy another product. When enough people change products as a result companies often revert changes or at least learn from them.
