Hence why we recommend SeaSonic (XFX) over the CX

Wish some one clonked me over the head a while back and told me this. Cost me a bloody 980! (I know, what was I thinking running a 980 on a CX) But alas I now run a AX model.

cx = ok for low end stuff with not a lot of power draw

Pro Tip: don't use flash when taking pictures of your build; use a longer exposure instead. Prop up your camera with something (preferably a tripod) if necessary.

if you use retarded/autistic/etc to mean stupid please gtfo

I wouldn't sweat it OP, they are fine for the most part, not high quality, but that's the entire point of the hate here, it's not high quality, but they do fine.

The biggest problem at first was people making high end builds with them and the intent of overclocking and having it in a high heat output environment, where the unit is more designed for basic and general purpose based systems. It's not a bad PSU for those kinds of builds and work well in those kinds of situations.

Its likely fine.

I used to run 2 760s on my cx750m and it didnt do anything out of the ordinary. That dosent mean you wont have any issues, but just stating that it isnt as bad as some people make it out to be.

Its just that people how have lost parts to the power supply are a lot more vocal than people who have had no problems with it...
