Because my Dad has been so busy with work i'd like to buy him a portable battery because his HTC M7's battery life is rubbish, this will help because he uses his phone a lot for work. He is able to upgrade but work is so busy he hasn't had chance.  I'd like to also buy him a portable speaker for when he is working at home or at work.

It's amazing how many non-techie people need new graphics cards :P

As for me... Never knew smart watches were that expensive. Was hoping for a G watch type thing, but hey, Pebble Time is pretty good as well.

My family is already all taken care of by me + my grandparents are badass. But my best friend just had her super expensive watch stolen and started asking about smart watches. So this seems perfect

Hello Linus Media Group

My name is Jaiden and I would love to be able to get http://www.amazon.ca/Pyle-Home-PLTTB8UI-Classical-Turntable-Fold-Out/dp/B004V9G27G/ref=sr_1_sc_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1449769586&sr=8-2-spell&keywords=record+player+with+speekers for my grandmother.  a few weeks ago my grandmother was diagnosed with stage three intestinal cancer. This unique Item can bring life into the household. My grandparents have many vinals and a really nice record player that is unfortunately ceased up. I would love to see them pull out their vinals once more, this record player says old relic all over it but with the new modern twist, with internal speakers an ipod dock, to put all the family’s music in for her to listen to while she recovers through all the treatment coming up…… unfortunately right by Christmas time. But also can connect to your home pc how cool is that! I have a great passion for tech im the only one is the family and this is a chance to show how cool tech can be and have a shot to share my enthusiasm of the new age with a twist of old fashion.

I hope you see this submission and decide the cause is worthy enough to win have a great Christmas, keep the astounding videos going

I think that the Spotcam camera would be a great gift for my parents as they just moved in to a new house and security never hurt nobody :) It is very easy to setup and use, recordings are always available on the smartphone or a PC and you don't have to pay monthly for a cloud storage. The value of 1 Spotcam is $119 for indoor camera and $159 for outdoor version, so for 300 bucks you can have 2 cameras and a little leftover in a wallet. Links to the Amazon:

Indoor version: http://www.amazon.com/Aposonic-Monitoring-Surveillance-Continuous-Recording/dp/B00OUX6QZ6/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1449773057&sr=8-2&keywords=spotcam

Outdoor version: http://www.amazon.com/Aposonic-Monitoring-Surveillance-Continuous-Recording/dp/B00T82IM1U/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1449773057&sr=8-1&keywords=spotcam

UPD.: the price is frequently changing, so the set of these cameras can change, too.

My mum is trying to get fitter for the new year, but has been trying for over 3 months and struggles to track her improvements and such lack motivation. I would love to get her a Fitness Watch, in this case, Fitbit Surge (small). It would be amazing for her to see the improvements to her health.

I would buy my mom a MX Master mouse. She works from home and she's been using this dinkly little bluetooth mouse. She really deserves better than that. The side-scroll wheel and multiple devices will really help her out, too.

She is using a horrible "smartphone" that just freezes, can't take pictures that are any good and can't do much of anything to be honest.

I would like to gift my mom a food processor. In her free time, she loves to cook, and makes amazing food. She has always wanted a food processor, I really wish that I can get her one myself, but my college education is taking all my money. I found one I think she would like, but it doesn't have to be that exact one in general. We would be happy with just about anything.

Cuisinart DFP-14BCN 14-Cup Food Processor, Brushed Stainless Steel

I got into tech because of my Dad, he has his own Personal, Education and Workspace media company and is always having various bits of cool tech pass through our house, which he's told me to test, setup and build. I work for his company now and love it.

The gift, however would go to my grandparents (on his side)

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Apple-MLNC2B-64GB-TV-GENERATION/dp/B018ZGGWD4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1449773870&sr=8-1&keywords=apple+tv

I'd get them an Apple TV because they love to take photos and videos with us and the other family and their friends. I think they'd really love one of these seeing as between the two of them they have 4 iPad's seeing as they love them so much.

Thanks guys,

Ben

This is easy, as a gift I would chose the Logitech MX Master Wireless Mouse for my mother. http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Master-Wireless-Mouse-910-004337/dp/B00TZR3WRM/ref=dp_ob_title_ce (currently priced around: $81.29)

So I was installing some drivers on her computer just yesterday, (and to my unpleasant surprise found out that she uses a total crap-heap of an optical mouse from the '90-s that I wouldn't give to my worst enemies, since its so icy-bitty tiny not suited even for a 2 year old child hand). A mouse might seem as something non important, but that is one of the most use peripheral during the entire work day for any computer user. And I know that she would be very grateful since in her age any unpleasant use of keyboard or a mouse tends to enhance any muscle strains and pain in the arms and in the back.

Sadly she doesn't use any more my old Logitech MX 1000, yes it's more then 10 years old, and it's still working but the battery charge simply doesn't provide any usable up time. Not even for a casual daily work, and it has proprietary charger, and no it doesn't have interchangeable batteries.

I know it's a thing of the past, and deserves to be hung in a museum, as my Commodore 64 with the magnetic tape reader (no floppy drive) and the good ol' "The Hunt for the Red October" game. Which brings some mixed memories from my youth, I can't remember did we spent more time watching the colour strips on the screen waiting for a game to load or did we actually spent any good time playing any of them?!? :))) Probably the broadcast from the radio station, that tried to freely distribute the games back in those days over the AM/FM radio waves (now that was some hardcore Wi-Fi streaming), was a bit buggy, or maybe it was the interference from the Chernobyl radiation. All I remember that me and all of my friends, we all just stared at the TV set trying not to blink waiting for that rainbow of colours just to load the damn game so we can spend around 30 minutes (or less) of game-play to the glorious sound of 8-tin bit music. Oh the joy when we actually loaded a game, I think that 6 floors down all of the neighbours knew when we successfully loaded a game. Man those ware some good times.

So.... yeah I would definitely get my mother a new mouse, but It would be great if Santa Linus would sent one to her, it will totally make her and my holidays this year truly unforgeable.

Thank you LTT and happy holidays!
