I would love to get my dad the nvida Sheild because he streams a lot on his tv for Netflix and other stuff like that but it's always really slow and stoping randomly so I think this would be a really good gift for him and he does light gaming so with this he could do light gaming on it with the Sheild controller and everything else that's not gaming with the Sheild remoe. i linked 500 a and 16gig because the 500 gig was 299 before shipping so I just linked both

I want get my dad a GoPro camera for use in his car as a dash-cam and to film his daily commutes. He loves driving and being able to have his journeys recorded would be nice. The cameras small footprint is also a nice bonus.

Merry Christmas!

I'd love to buy my little brother a neat pair of headphones since he's starting to get into gaming (12 yrs old) so i chose the Wireless G933 Artemis Spectrum. I thought it would go great for him since it's lightweight, wireless and he hates wires. i know he's gonna love those rgb effects, and he would be happy to replace the crappy apple earphones he uses.

Well I'd give my parents a Logitec Harmony One, so I could set it up for them and they could more easily controll their TV, Setup Box, Blueray and Amp.

I think this is great cause me as the tecguy could set it all up and they would only have to use one simple remote to watch TV, listen to Radio or whatever.

Intel Core i5 4690K as my friend Tom, who does not have much money and hardly knows anything about computers, wants to learn about computer hardware and build a PC so I suggested him your channel and he has watched a few videos and is starting to get the hang of it so If I get him the start of his PC for Christmas he would be overjoyed. Thanks for the opportunity

I would choose an HP Chromebook. One that has a slightly larger screen (14 inches).

I would give this to my cousin, who is in University and needs a computer that doesn't crash while opening Google Chrome. The Chromebook is good as it is basic, has a large screen and can be used for taking notes.

I am getting him this as his already existing computer is a 15-year-old desktop that is running Windows XP with one of those CRT monitors, its basically worth nothing. It is also not convenient as he can not take it to classes.

My Dad needs a big SSD for his 6 year old MacBook Unibody...

It`s sooo slow with OS X El Capitan, and a SSD would make it much faster...

The startup takes about 5 minutes! He would be quite suprised if he gets a 960GB SSD :-) BEST GIFT EVER

Now the SSD is even on sale for only 249 US Dollar :)

If i win this giveaway for him, i gonna cry because i never win some thing xD

by the way, do you ship the gift in european countries like Austria?

A nice Sandisk SSD would actually be great for my dad! It'll definitely give his pc a boost, so he won't need to break the screen again for it being slow (yes, that actually happened). The SSD would at the same time free up his current drive, which he can then use to store all his GoPro cycling footage :)

Bonjour,

For awhile now, I've attempted to get my dad into gaming. Before I was born, he was in fact somewhat of a gamer. He played games like Doom, COD, Counterstrike, etc. Although after having his first child (me), and then my sister soon after, he quickly had to prioritize and quit gaming, passing on his Xbox to me.

After years of trying to get him to try new games, his same excuse everytime has been, "I'm just not good at them. They're not really my thing."

So I've taken the wonderful holiday sales and this giveaway as an opportunity to get my old man back into gaming. Here on Amazon is a $300 PS4 bundle that comes with Star Wars Battlefront: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B01574SORE

Merci,

AFrenchWallaby

Hi, the gift I would buy for my mum is a smart tv (http://www.amazon.com/TCL-40FS3800-40-Inch-1080p-Smart/dp/B00UB9UJFQ/ref=sr_1_3?s=tv&ie=UTF8&qid=1449768450&sr=1-3&keywords=smart+tv+40+inch). I know this is a very "common" tech gift but my mum is still rocking an lcd barely hd tv that has a shadow over the screen. My mum has wanted a new tv for a long time but just doesnt have the money to spend.

Thanks for reading this

From Kyle ;)

First off i would like to gift to all my family an SSD for their slow PC in the other room. This will ban all the "the PC is slow" complaints and make everyone a lot happier when the need to use it!

I chose an v300 because it's good enough and the PC has only sata2. Link:

http://www.amazon.com/Kingston-Digital-SSDNow-SV300S37A-120G/dp/B00A1ZTZOG/ref=sr_1_3?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1449767661&sr=1-3&keywords=SSD

Secondly I would love to gift them with a new TV. They all love watching TV and the old CRT is not a good solution - it has an annoying capacitor that makes the most horrible ultrasonic sound ever. Also, it's CRT -  i don't want their eyes to get damaged just because the TV is old. I went with a 28 inch because the space is limited. This one is a prime example for a tech gift for non-techies because the TV is smart, so i can do some more complicated things that they might not. Also would be quite cool to watch pictures/movies/etc directly from the home cloud, something that the other TV can't do!

I've chosen the VIZIO E28h-C1 because it had good results and all the inputs that they will ever need. Link:

Thanks guys and happy holidays! :)

Christmasy giveaway °<:]

My mom's old sound system died some time ago so a new one would be a perfect gift for her.

Nothing fancy like a home theater. One that can play MP3 and old disks alike.

I want to gift my mother a new phone, she is on a small sony touchscreen phone can't really get her head around all the bloatware that is on it.

A clean android Moto G.3 would help in my opinion, since it has a bigger screen and is practically bloatware free.
