People that have leaking water coolers are just a lot more likely to make a video about it, compared to people where it just works.

It can happen, its extremely rare, and people could have damaged them accidentally, or perhaps abused them or damaged them

You have to think about how many of them have been sold. Which is alot! But how many have you heard that have leaked? And keep in mind that the situations that are different stand out o its easier to find. So its very low.

Pretty low but gather 'round children I shall tell you a tale about fucking AMD. I had built a system with a Fury X right? It was working great and humming along, then later I noticed a slight leak nothing major right?  I thought it was a loose fitting, but within the 30 seconds it took me to get papertowels from the kitchen the ENTIRE tube split down the middle and water went all over 5820K, ASUS Impact MOBO, the GPU of course, my RAM and my Xonar sound card.  Needless to say, it was like my system was raped.

The video Kyle at awesome sauce network posted with his Kelvin cooler was because it was a manufacturer sample, with little to no QC. Other videos are probably either set up or the cooler was set up in a way it was not intended for. I own an H100i and love the thing, there really is nothing to worry about :)

Story time!  I was on a kick of seeing how many D5 pumps I could run in series.  You know...flow rate is directly proportional to penis size.  So I'm up to 2 D5 Strong pumps and 1 D5 pump all cranking away at max speed.  The flow indicator on my res is going back in time it's spinning so fast.

Middle of gaming a hose literally *blows* off a barb *with a clamp on it*.  So much pressure in the line that it exceeded what a clamp could handle and coolant shot out 2 feet horizontally from my case like a sideways fountain.  My face was probably the funniest shit in the world like "oh fuck oh fuck oh fuck oh fuck" as I dive for the power strip and slam the power off button to kill everything.

The bright side?  The coolant exploded with so much velocity none of it landed *in* the case.  Good thing I was running with the side panel off!

Because a Fury X was in your system when some tubing exploded it automatically makes it AMD's fault? I see your logic.

Nobody would make a video showcasing how their cooler is not leaking. It would be like someone making a video talking about how their fans are spinning normally.
