Am I the only one who hates GeForce Experience?

TheCaptain53

It feels slow, it always crashes, it takes ages to load. Seriously, I just wanted a quick utility to upgrade my graphics drivers and some other quick Nvidia features.

If I wanted something to 'optimise my game settings', I'd use a console.

Anyone else feel like this?

I really like it

works great for me, shadowplay is awesome, I can record or stream with barely any fps decrease, driver updates take one click, finish in 90 seconds, and no restarts are needed

and according to linus the game optimization works very well for him, giving settings very close to what he would manually pick without him having to waste time going through all the settings when he wants to play a game, saving him time

I like the frame counter and Shadowplay when it works. Otherwise, I have no use for it.

Same.

I haven't had ShadowPlay give me any issues really. I just hate how slow the whole suite runs when I just wanna use ShadowPlay.

You mean to tell me there is a group of like minded individuals like ourselves that use Nvidia products but absolutely despise Geforce Experience? Sweet Bruh.

I love their products, they're freaking awesome, but the software and their businesses practices are fucking crap.

I do like the Control Panel, though. Super handy.

I hate it cause it flashed the custom bios off my GTX 580... real bummer...

also game stream to shield has been nothing but headaches for me

Want a good game to play?  Check out Shadowrun: http://store.steampowered.com/app/300550/ (runs on literally any hardware)

How? It doesn't touch the vBIOS.

one of the older express options for driver installation  said it was "vga bios error detected, downloading and repairing"  Unfortunately it was to late.  IDK what was up with that; haven't seen it happen since

Interesting. I'll try to keep that in the back of my mind if someone uses GFE and mods the vBIOS on their card.

I like it, I don't use the optimisation thing at all but the fact it lets me know when new drivers are available and having shadowplay bundled into it is really nice. I haven't had any problems with it personally other than I think it could load a bit quicker.
