Fallout NV, on the road where you can see the NCR outpost with the statues.

That view made me wish to take a hike and see the beauties of the world, it made me imagine a road close to my home, desolated and isolated from everything around it; the city, the homes, the traffic. Just me walking in silence or with some sombering music on, realizing what has happened. If you take that view into context it's absolutely amazing.

Trine 2 looks really nice imo.

I quite like battlefront, and crysis 3 has always been one of my faves too.

It had some cool things going on with color, the new Mirrors Edge appears to do the same. Nobody hates you  :)

Personally, it's Final Fantasy XIV (an MMORPG). It probably doesn't compete compared to other things here, but FFXIV is just .. so beautiful .. for an MMORPG.

Pictures obviously related. They're of my character, Aika Nakamura. I'm on the Famfrit server if anyone plays!

I really liked the visuals of Mad Max, especially in 1440p. I also loved the graphical style of Ori and the Blind Forest and Battlefront.

So many great choices already. I agree with almost everything that has been posted, it's impossible to pick just one.

 

I do feel there are others that are at least worth a mention though:

Metro 2034 redux gets my vote. Modded skyrim gets an honorable mention as well.

Even having extensively explored the environments of Witcher 3, the forest area of flotsam in Witcher 2 is still my absolute favorite. It was purely stunning at the time it was released and still is amazing.
