I got 500 GB for free!

Kevguy

I ordered a 500 GB Seagate Barracuda HDD from Memory Express.

They phone me up today and say it's not in stock anymore and they will be shipping me a 1 TB Barracuda for the same price as a 500 GB.

Ok? So you felt the need to post it on a forum? Would you like a lollipop and a gold star for the day as well? I don't understand the reason for posting this, I mean good for you but I couldn't care less.

The funny thing is that a 500GB HD is priced the same as a 1TB HD, where I live.

ahem, I do not live where you live.

If this would've been a SSD it would've been worth the forum post.

But it isn't. Otherwise I would've ordered 10.  ;)

Well, while I was on the phone with her, I was thinking that maybe I should try to order a few more while I'm at it.

How is it free if you can actually get a 1TB for the price of a 500GB nowadays?

pretty free if you get 500gb more at the same price

wut why would you buy 500GB in the first place if 1TB is exactly the same price it defeats the point.

Basic guide to CPU's!

If I said I were 14, you would call me a kid. If I say 70, you’ll entitle me too old. If I say 20 you say I’m inexperienced and if I say 40 than I'm too boring.

Let me put this simple.

Where I live:

500 GB HDD $ ≠ 1000 GB HDD $

1000 GB HDD % > 500 GB HDD $

Cool only took forever for you to realize that 500GB for an HDD is pretty worthless. If it was SSD I would have been impressed. Good day.

while yes this should have been a status update(and will probably get locked by a mod because of it), theres no need to be a twat
