It's pretty bad yes. Now who knows the original maker or if AMD plans on releasing a real set of ram, but this one is kinda for looks only...

most likely it for the next gen APU chips since DDR4 could hit crazy speeds like 3200MHz

Um, my Corsair LPX kit runs at 3000 standard and I've managed 3333 by bumping v up and loosening timings and DDR4 is still fairly new. I'd say 4000Mhz should be possible by the time DDR5 comes out.

I am thinking about getting them. It's either those, or the GiEL Super Luce kit. They have 2400mhz at CL14, and 1.25V. I should be able to overclock those to 3000mhz CL14 with some headroom.

Assuming that the price that it saves on the cpu, is the same that it adds to motherboards, that is neither a good nor bad thing. It's just a different distribution of cost.

LGA pins are on the motherboard, AMD's sockets have pins on the CPU. Generally, if you bend or break a pin beyond repair, you have to replace whatever part has a bent pin. and usually the motherboard is the cheaper of the two to replace.

Perhaps, but I still don't see how that makes it a major advantage. I have been building pcs for friends and family and upgrading my own pc for over a decade now, and I've still never bent or encountered a bent pin ootb, on either platform. This seems more like a personal preference than a legitimate cause of concern to me.

What AMD need to do is stop selling this shit and really work hard on Zen and get themselves back on track. I know loads of people with AMD systems (some expensive) and no way are they even considering AMD branded RAM.

Yea, because the engineers are the ones calling OEMs and telling them they want to rebrand their RAM. Let's have the janitors go work on Zen too.
