Well before the update i was humming along at a nice 25-40ms tops in EU west.

btw waht happened w the servers? why did the ping go up so much? been out of the news as i havent been playing cs lately(only saw dem new shadow daggers and big patch w hitboxes and animations)

it seems more so a backbone issue. (GTT's website taking more than a minute to load isnt all that comforting either...)

 

i'm gonna place a very wild bet, and say VPN-ing over the netherlands may be a *temporary* fix.

 

if anyone from the UK reads this, has ping issues in CS:GO, and has a VPN service with servers in NL, please try.

Only UK was affected, relax, Volvo will fix it. Play ESEA or FACEIT for a couple of weeks.

Or it's not even Volvo's fault and your routing to Germoney, Sweden servers has just gone to shit.

Everything too competitive, if you die as a last man standing they vote kick you, people screaming and such.

 

I'd rather play a more casual game if I don't have 10+ hours each week to play.

My own servers are 140ms+ and Russian 55-89ms... 

Play some games on russian servers... oh god.

Just get out of the silver/gold ranks and u will be golden. I'm dmg and i met a very few russian players or kids. Almost all of the players are friendly. I play on vienna and luxembourg servers.

CSGO died for the sake of a new case, the new animations are half arsed, I don't even know what they did to the fucking hit boxes but I couldn't kill a guy at all after the update when I was top fragging most games to killing no one... even when they were right in front of me, fuck that lol.

Made it more fun for who? Me who can't hit anything even if they're stood infront of me taking up my screen (so I really don't know where the bullets are flying to, maybe spain? I hear it's nice there atm) or the guy who can't die cos my bullets are on vacation?  :lol:

 

I've been moving out the last few days so have no internet to play CSGO, but I'll play it once they iron out all the shit, I'm in the UK and so is the OP so maybe the issue is our servers? God knows, all I know is Valve is pretty decent at being shit consistently I mean you would think that improving their customer service rating which is the worst in the world would be something to at least consider? no? I can do sarcasm to if you want to go that route young man.  :wub:
