Out of curiosity - What brand video card are you using in your main gaming machine?

Curious to know what the distribution is.  I'm going to guess....

 

70% nvidia

28% amd

2% intel

In my current gaming rig though I'm using nvidia, 550 ti to be exact. This gaming rig is only temporary though, in the soon future I'm going to be using my HD 7770 again

amd started off strong but as expected nvidia has pulled ahead, just curious based off that linus video I recently saw and the thread mentioning the 80% nvidia gpu marketshare figure.

It seems Linus actual viewership/forum dwellers are not quite as one sided in the gpus they own than that 80% nvidia number suggests.  Basically before the 970 it was closer to a 60/40 split in favor of nvidia, and a lot of people have cards from before that time where the 80% share is invalid.

Everything about the 82:18% market share is blown out of proportion - I believe there was a legit source that proved that the market at the moment is 76% for Nvidia and 24% for AMD - not the eerie figures that the fancy shiny chart had. Not sure who had the anaylisis tho.
