Windows 10 and Skylake is designed together?

Windows2000

With all this marketing + features pouring into the media, I think AMD has to really try hard this time.

Beating Intel when it comes to performance isn't enough anymore.

whats there to beat? skylakes meh launch lmfao. easy as pie. just watch and dont worry. Zen will kill it next year. Intel stagnates, Amd innovates.

I hope you are right, but the current state of the market suggests exactly the opposite.

Personally, I think that AMD needs to stop going to so many freaking directions. APU's, CPU's, GPU's, HSA, and whatever the hell else they are doing....and just focus on one, until they can make some serious money, and afford to do all of those things.

Ketchup is better than mustard.

GUI is better than Command Line Interface.

Dubs are better than subs

Zen will kill it next year? Lmfao, dream on. AMD themselves only predicts it to have similar performance to Haswell.

I thought their IPC estimates were closer to Ivy Bridge, but I could be mistaken.

if you have to insist you think for yourself, i'm not going to believe you.

The upper end of the predictions are Haswell. However with AMD's post Phenom II/K10 track record it wouldn't surprise me if the performance was around Ivybridge.

Nope. Intel Skylake support a new feature which work with Windows 10. It allows you to use Cortana while the system is at sleep to wake it up, with commands like "Hey Cortana, wake up my computer" or such.

I did a news article on it. Also there is probably improvement on Connected Standby feature on the mobile Skylake chips. A feature by Microsoft, which makes your tablet or laptop act like your smartphone, where it is able to get notifications (email, live tiles, etc) while the system is at sleep

I'd use it once to yell "Hey Cortana, uninstall yourself".

Gimmicky in my opinion.
