hi mine stays on 24/7 cus i have bad wifi and if there is a game update at night it can install and be done ;)

Always on my system is pretty power effecinet and it's quite so I leave it on. And I can like dowload stuff while it's on.

Why ?

Because I sleep 1.5 meters away from my PC, it's not very quiet.. (kinda quiet, not loud) and I can't sleep with noise.. (already terrible sleeper)

I never used sleep, I always use shutdown, I even pull out the power just incase of a thunderstorm at night, better to be safe then sorry.

Shut down at night.

Better for the PC, our power bill, preventing dust from building up in the PC, preventing my room from being too hot (it heats up my room a lot), etc. etc.

I like to leave it running until the system time is about 1 week, then I reboot it. If I have to go out i shove it on hibernate so i can jsut go back to whatever I was doing right away

I got an sdd and the boot is so fast so I turn off, but before that I would just sleep.

I usually keep it on because I had some problems with sleep mode in the past. Turns out my psu was dying, but I didn't know that. Now I'm too lazy to set it to automatically sleep again.

There is no need to keep a computer on if not needed. It wastes electricity, wears down components, and creates heat.

more to do with the fact that my PC is next to the window and if it rains fenrir gets watered, which would be fine if it was a plant, but it isn't

I have both a big window and a small window that can open and the small window opens outside so water can't never get in :")
