The only thing that could have made the iMac 5k better is maybe try to squeeze in a GTX 980M but I suspect the TDP is too high for what the iMac is currently designed for. Unless their Thunderbolt display gets like a 4k display and is made to be more like an iMac then I guess I'd reconsider building an all in one desk (Where the computer is inside the desk). I think that one thing about PCs I don't like is that they're messy and take up more space than necessary but at the same time on paper and in the real world they often fair better than a Mac just because they have more breathing room in terms of having specs. I mean I said this on another thread but if I saw the need to build a PC too then I would. But it wouldn't be anything fancy since it would be AMD based and running Elementary or Ubuntu or Arch with either Cinnamon or Gnome.

dude check out my thread on the whole 5K imac thing and no-one believed me about putting a 980M in there lol.. they said it was perfect for the price

Would call these a mix of misconceptions and actual embarrassing things:

I thought a membrane keyboard was mechanical.

I really liked Vista because of its looks

I bought a pair of Turtle Beach headphones once

I once build a pc and forgot to flip the switch on the back of the PSU,sweat broke out in places i didn't know i could sweat.

Tried reseating everything, ram cpu gpu etc etc, took me about 45 minutes and a whole re-build before i noticed it was the switch.

The things blind panic can do to you... <_<

I'm using the keyboard that came with my Gateway (cat hasn't got that wire yet but he did get the mouse) I want something mechanical with rollover and maybe a set of extra buttons as well as volume up, down, and mute colors would be ok but not a deal breaker and a couple of usb ports on it wouldn't hurt also my i3 processor and I need a SSD. anything else maybe down the road.

Yeah you could really do some cool stuff with it, it was very powerful at the time, i used to take one to school, this was way before people had iPhones and laptops, I was revered to some as a geek god, and to others as that lame twat sat at the back of the class... oh well :P
