It LOOKS...GORGEOUS.

 

Insomniac's Shaun McCabe said in an interview (last link) that this game won't be just a hd- remake but is a new game with elements of the original game. Also the film was co- produced/ made with the game. 

 

I really like that they didn't go the lazy way by just maiking a remake but to also add new elements to the game and improving it in many ways. And I believe this is the actual gameplay footage and am 90% sure they won't downgrade the graphics, based on the link I gave. It seems to me like a part of the game is already made and this couldn't be done with a pre-render using the game's engine (right?). The guy was playing it in real time while talking or at least wasn't just the trailer playing in the background.

 

Reminds me when I was a 10 year old boy and this was my first game I really enjoyed. Also a film is coming out with the game but I'm focusing on the game here.

Its exclusive on the ps4 and is coming out "spring 2016", movie coming on april 29th, 2016

 

Really hyped for it and won't be selling my ps4

But I am afraid it is kinda pre rendered :(

Well a lot of the times, devs say "In game" and mean "Using the in-game engine".

And the video was 'only' 1080p 30fps, so it could still be possible.
