They got most of it right except for the screen.

long-lasting, high-capacity battery that can power nearly four hours of video.

Interesting definition of "long-lasting".

Four hours for a gaming laptop is long lasting. I use to own an ASUS G73SW and I was lucky to get 2 hours of battery life out of that thing on power saving mode

i really want MSI to make a 14 or 15 inch variant of this notebook, 17 inches is too large and it becomes less portable.

why are the batteries so shitty on notebooks? like seriously! it drives me crazy that a little ultrabook can get this awesome battery performance but a massive gaming laptop gets shit for battery even though the batteries weigh more than the ultrabook (obviously hyperbole)

Better battery performance = a bigger battery.

This is Ultrabook style, it has to fit a certain criteria, don't blame MSI or Razer for Intel not letting them have the laptop be a little bit thicker.

I prefer the looks of the razer blade. but since this will have a cheaper starting price I think it is the better option. And I agree with GaZinggEr 17.3in. is really big, and i prefer 15.6in. laptops. Hopefully I can get my hands on one of these thin, high performance laptops because I love them:) lol

raid setup and steel series keyboard is a plus above the razer blade. plus its a full 1080p screen instead of the 900p one on the blade. just an alternative, not a be all end all. oh, and it will possibly even cost less :O

I love MSI, but stop it with the cheezy dragon logos all over everything! If I buy a high end laptop, odds are I'll want to use it for things, in places, maybe even in public or at work and stupid gaming badging is what keeps me from buying things that I would otherwise like to own.
