My HDD is currently dying, multiple bad sectors.... I had an oem copy of win 7 home edition on the HDD (I overhauled my entire pc besides that hard drive, It's a 7 year old 5400 RPM Sata 2 Seagate). When that HDD goes, I will be out of an OS and I may be forced to go to windows 8 :(. Winning this would help me out so much! Of course, good luck to everyone who enters, and props to Drunk Muffin for this giveaway.

 

 

I went ahead and made a background for this contest! I still have the .PSD file if you need proof! (Features the 'OS-tan' for windows 7. These are essentially mascots for Japanese windows) I'd be willing to remove my screen name and use yours if you want!

Hiya all, so Win8 doesn't sit well with you guys, so instead i'm going to be giving one lucky poster a key for Windows 7 Ultimate. Obviously if you already have Windows 7 Ultimate, please don't enter, let people with vista or home edition try to win.

i would LOVE this for my friends first gaming rig i am building for him, i managed to convince him not to spend his money on a next gen console and instead entrust me to build him a PC so he could join the PC master race :D unfortunately at this point in time it will be getting Vista as an OS as that was all i could get in budget.

So I'm about to go to uni (UK), and that basically means that for the next 5/7 years, NO spare cash. (Lucky to have enough for one sport, maybe.) So I would REALLY like to build myself a top end PC to last me out maybe long enough that I can still have decent one at the end of it. Which I can JUST ABOUT afford, before the OS.. So it would be AMAZING if you could help me out with this..

I believe i should receive this OS due to many reasons. 

1. I want to use the full capacity of the WIN7 operating system to further my learning capabilities with computers as this is what i will study in college.

2. I would like to further make my build complete by adding this OS to it and improving overall efficiency.

3. School is approaching and i want to have a system ready build for it since i will be dedicated to mostly studies ans my standardized testing.

4. Other OS's are very much horrid and I want the full capabilities of DX11 and it's graphic powers. 

5. I am experienced with Windows ever since '95 and even DOS since I was young. I really dislike OSX and I do not understand how to operate OS like Linux or Ubuntu.

6. I want to further secure my education for University by having my documents in a safe and secure operating OS.

Hi, I enjoy gaming and my current pc is running on windows XP. It is a wonderful version of windows and possibly the best ever but it is getting to the point where it sucks...alot, slow boot, slow application opening, slow application closing and it looks like shi...rubbish. A copy of windows could help me enormously however I have about as much money as nemo
