16GB usb memory only show 25 mb

Hello, i have this 16gb USB memory stick from Kingstone and when i plug it in to my computer it only shows 25,7mb, is there someway to fix it?

You probably need to delete the partitions.

Are you sure it's a genuine Datatraveler drive?

Try formatting it, and see if that helps.

If it doesn't, you might have gotten your hands on a fake.

Format it.

Try Fat32 and NTFS

If you format you will probably just format the partition so it will remain the same size. You want to actually clear the partition table from the USB drive and recreate. 

 

I would suggest using the DISKPART utility in Windows.
