Gaming and HTPC (reparations)- ASUS 1080, MSI X99A SLI Plus, 5820k- 4.5GHz @ 1.25v, asetek based 360mm AIO, RM 1000x, 16GB memory, 750D with front USB 2.0 replaced with 3.0  ports, 2 250GB 850 EVOs in Raid 0 (why not, only has games on it), some hard drives

Screens- Acer preditor XB241H (1080p, 144Hz Gsync), LG 1080p ultrawide, (all mounted) directly wired to TV in other room

Stuff- k70 with reds, steel series rival, g13, full desk covering mouse mat

All parts black

Workstation(desk)- 3770k, 970 reference, 16GB of some crucial memory, a motherboard of some kind I don't remember, Micomsoft SC-512N1-L/DVI, CM Storm Trooper (It's got a handle, can you handle that?), 240mm Asetek based AIO, Crucial M550 256GB (upgrade soon), some hard drives, disc drives, and hot swap bays

Screens- 3  ASUS VN248H-P IPS 1080p screens mounted on a stand, some old tv on the wall above it. 

Stuff- Epicgear defiant (solderless swappable switches), g600, moutned mic and other stuff. 

Laptop docking area- 2 1440p korean monitors mounted, one AHVA matte, one samsung PLS gloss (very annoying, yes). Trashy Razer blackwidow chroma...I mean like the J key doesn't click anymore. I got a model M i use on it to, but its time for a new keyboard. Some edgy Utechsmart mouse similar to g600. Hooked to laptop dock for both of my dell precision laptops. (not only docking area)

Shelf- i7-2600 non-k (has vt-d), 380t, some ASUS sandy itx board, intel quad nic. Currently hosts shared files, setting up as pfsense box in VM. Also acts as spare gaming PC with a 580 or whatever someone brings. Hooked into laptop dock area via usb switch

God damn it.

 

My game runs at 40fps at native res at low settings D:.Just outside of the sweetspot of 50-60fps.

 

Guess that's what I get for still having a 560.

The grass actually looks better in-game now, although the distant trees do look worse.  Shadows are better in the game, but general atmospheric lighting is better in the video.  Faces look better in the game.  That's been my observation in an hour or two of gameplay.

The grass actually looks better in-game now, although the distant trees do look worse.  Shadows are better in the game, but general atmospheric lighting is better in the video.  Faces look better in the game.  That's been my observation in an hour or two of gameplay.

I've played a very short time, I'm waiting a day or two before really sitting down to play this.

Should I rush to the store and snatch it up in a week when I'm done with finals or should I go on my 19th playthrough of Skyrim?

Looks nice.

Too bad they told everyone with anything other than a 900 series card to go f*ck themselves.

Nvidia is to Dr Dre Beets as AMD is to KFC.

My impression is so far it looks great...mostly...but it may not be as good as the original trailers. I sure hope this game gets modded a lot, it has so much potential for it to just be...unreal...

Skip the first one, 2nd one is a much better game IMHO and it continues much nicely from 2 without having to know what happened in 1.

The first image is just Tesselation whacked to the max in their test build, with some lighting changes.  The colours are more the 2015 version, but still looks pretty decent.

is it really that bad? I had someone on reddit say he cant run it well at all on min with a 780ti, and that's bs if that's true

based on that gif it has a lot more lighting work in the 2013 build, looks better than anything I've seen live rendered that's not a tech demo or a heavily modded game

I got a model M i use on it to, but its time for a new keyboard. Some edgy Utechsmart mouse similar to g600. Hooked to laptop dock for both of my dell precision laptops. (not only docking area)

Shelf- i7-2600 non-k (has vt-d), 380t, some ASUS sandy itx board, intel quad nic. Currently hosts shared files, setting up as pfsense box in VM. Also acts as spare gaming PC with a 580 or whatever someone brings. Hooked into laptop dock area via usb switch

based on that gif it has a lot more lighting work in the 2013 build, looks better than anything I've seen live rendered that's not a tech demo or a heavily modded game 

 

Yeah that preview build looked fucking insane... makes you wonder if the paralell dev for consoles had an effect on the final quality of the pc version.

For some reason my fps was quite low in the training area. 

Got into the open world and I get ~50fps at 1080p (still low ofc).

 

NO MORE UPGRADE TIME!
