Mediocre videos made by interns, rushed reviews which feel more like watching a product showcase on day-time television and generally uninteresting subjects viewed from overly elaborate perspectives yielding no fresh insight whatsoever.It feels like the channel obligatory shitting out a new video every day. Choosing quantity over quality, giving to much leash for supporting roles and their playthings. Perhaps i'm a bitter oaf, but to me Luke struggling on a 5 minute stroll, summing up the specs on the website wearing his regular khaki shorts and shoes in which no sane person dares to run- does not count as a review of sport orientated headphones. Same as any elaborate shot bonanza droning up specs, same as camera videos pointed at the utmost fringe of niche, same as a shoddily made keyboard praised beyond worth.This feels like filler after filler. And i'm getting full before we get to the good stuff.

 

My opinion is, perhaps, highly personal. It certainly does not reflect the views of everyone here. Maybe not anyone. Still, feels like it has to be said.

Some of your points are totally legitimate. The testing of the headphones for example. I do have a question though. Do you think that Linus hadn't approved of the video topics? Not sure how Linus being here would make much difference in that complaint.

 

And the "interns" I hope you don't mean Luke cause that doesn't make much sense, and Brandon (who has been doing a good job) has already been making videos of more niche products. So I am not sure where you are going with that.

 

I think some of the problems was them expanding beyond your particular interests trying to reach some of the interests of the rest of the community. I give them credit for it, not berate them for it. I don't watch every video they make, especially if I have no interests in it, and you should probably do the same.

 

As for production quality? It was pretty much the same.

Also, vessel is amazing. Glad it exists, absolutely willing to pay the $3 after my free year.

its cause its not directed at ltt or us. its just a blurt of noise on which to fall onto people who will listen. no ltt admin as tagged, and linus was not pm'ed. if he asked if we felt the same I would have said something different. if he pm linus this not body would be responding. his complaint is falling on def ears.

That's because after the second or third day using Vessel they fixed the buffering. It hasn't given me a problem and the UI simply works. Aside from the mouse cursor not disappearing when a video plays (I just move it to a corner) I have no problems with it. I don't mind supporting Linus and I don't mind early content.

Yes, your right your views don't represent the consensus, so I don't seen any point in complaining when this thread clearly shows that many other viewers are enjoying the content. When you say that the reviews are not detailed or long enough, well that's constructive criticism, but when you are just complaining because the products being reviewed don't interest you, well that's being a little bit ignorant.

I agree, it is disrespectful, but no-one really cares about cameras. I did like Slick's TechQuickie though. Hopefully LMG returns to its original self after your holiday.
