What's a food stamp? :S

It's basically money given to you by the US government if you don't have the income/resources to afford to feed yourself & your kids with your current income (or lack of income)

It's what you get in America if you have no money for food.

A bit like benefits here in the UK.

More competitive pricing =/= for poor people

That's like saying everyone who doesn't have an exotic supercar are poor.

At least AMD doesn't do that 3.5GB thing on its customers.

AMD= Does the job, enjoyable gameplay, cheap and cheerful happy.

Intel= This is so overkill but... I like it.

AMD are cheap because they've released about three new GPUs in as many years, and sprinkled them among all of their re-badges. That's not being budget conscious, that's a lack of innovation and stifled R&D. It's especially not budget conscious in the long run as Intel and Nvidia are both releasing more and more energy efficient products yearly. Maybe Americans don't pay for their electricity but the rest of the world sure does.

The 750 ti wasn't a powerful card for its price, and I've always recommended either the 260X or the 270 to match either its performance or its price. It is, however, exactly the kind of attitude that should be going into a GPU at this price point, and that is "enough" performance, low power requirements and low TDP.

I do have to agree our economy sucks, but foodstamps are a godsend for the people who work there ass off to have a roof over there family's heads, and food on the table and still struggle to do so.

Is it bad that my dream setup only costs a few thousand not counting the obutto?

Oh that was great....

AMD, I haven't had as good experiences that I've had with Nvidia and Intel,

But they do have really great tech for the money.

I'll give them that.
