It doesn't sound like a very considered reaction at least. She probably needs a bit more time to process it. Hopefully she'll be able to do that and not just pretend you haven't told her. :0/

Well this isn't the first time that she has told me this. She has caught me kissing guys, and openly showing affection in public. So she sends me off to a religious camp, thinking that I am doing work of the devil and that I need to "find god". Honestly I could give to damns less about religion but that's just a personal thing. I've told her I am the way I am it makes me human. She thinks that she has to mold me into the perfect son/man. 

I don't mind talking about it in the thread, could get other peoples insight on this too.

And this is why religion should not be what it is today - discrimination....

 

Ask her to explain why she feels that you are any less a man by being pansexual if she can change her behavior for a bit to allow you to talk to her. Ask her why being straight is "superior." Tell her that you don't believe in the religious stuff she's putting you through and you want her to treat you like any normal human being.

The Bible says homophobic, sexist, racist and outright offensive things in it. Why someone would use this as their moral guideline rather than having their own morals set by themselves is beyond me.

This is the first and only time I've told her about my sexuality.

Yep and said that I was committing a sin and sent me off to a christian camp for the summer when its happened. She never wanted to talk about it or know about why I did it.

I have a very passive aggressive way of dealing with everything or I hold everything in and bottle it up till I just break and everything comes tumbling down.

Feels like it, I'm getting to the breaking point. I probably have about 2 years worth of torment and bad stuff bottled up right now and I tend to just try and forget about it when I can.

Its how I've always dealt with things, even with counselling, being put in psych wards, ect. I always revert to dealing with it the same way.

I am heterosexual. I know a few bisexuals, but that's about it. I also hate those people that think this type of thing is a choice; yeah, like anyone in their right mind would choose to take crap from all sides of society, parents included, intentionally. (I have nothing against LGBT itself, just those that speak out against it.)

They say its healthy and fine to do.

I feel better for a bit. But then its just me going to the same way of dealing with my emotions by bottling them up.
