Well, this NAS does a lot.  In that it runs network shares.  It uses the paid application FlexRAID for file level parity protection of files and when doing parity calculations alone it can use 40% of the i5 2300.  It also runs Medusa and CouchPotato with SABNBD, so it uses those for Usenet downloads which then demand PARing and unRARing.  It also runs Transmission for torrents.  Plus MS MySQL which my Kodi installations used to operate on a shared database between them all.  So using Windows makes it a lot easier to perform all these tasks in one... Cause I know how to use Windows.
