My first console was an NES.

My first PC had Windows 95 but I don't remember anything about the specs (I was 5).

My Dad had a Dell 8200 dimension which I used a lot that had a Pentium 4, then the first computer I shopped for myself was a 4600 dimension Pentium 4 HT.  I added 1.5gb of RAM, a Geforce 6600, and a 160gb hard drive over time.

First computer that was honestly mine (not school or hand-me-down) was an old Lenovo 'gaming' laptop, I still have it around here some where....

First console was a family PS2. The first think I ever truly f*cked up was that PS2..... I yanked it out (accidentally ) after a rather intense game of Hotwheels Velocity X with my sister. That game ruins families.

First console I bought with my own money was an NES. I started my collection of old consoles and games with that system. I love that thing, just the games where I live are expensive (~$15 a pop for the common semi-decent ones, ~7 for the crappy sports ones, at least (more like 30) for the well known games. E-bay and the occasional meet-up/con is much better.

"Normandy" i7 4790K - GTX 970 - Phantom 410 (Gun metal) - Z97 Extreme4 (asrock) - 128GB Crucial SSD - 1TB WD HDD - H60 Refurb. - 7 case fans | G710+ Keyboard, G230 Headset, Acer GN246HL Monitor.

Quick thoughts on system: I7 is extremely quick and I'm glad I spent the extra for hyper-threading. I regret my decision to get the GTX 970, it has horrible coil whine. There isn't any excuse for this terrible whine I and others are having. I HIGHLY recommend a 144hz monitor. Future Improvements/upgrades: Rubber fan mounts, basic speakers, more ram (for a total of 16gb), replace GPU.

144hz is love. 144hz is life. I like to submit unfinished posts then do about 20 edits. I like the Night Theme too.

First Console: Nintendo 64

First PC I Ever Used: One my dad built, unknown specs.

First Computer I Ever Owned: ACER Aspire 5560G

First PC I Ever Built: Messed around with some old PC's my dad had in the attic last night. We threw one together with these specs - Intel Pentium 4, AMD Radeon 9600, 60 GB HDD, 1024MB RAM. I'm using the other surviving parts to build another for practice.

We built this so my brother could play F1 '99-'02 (it isn't compatible with modern hardware or something, I dont know. I didn't look for an excuse not to build a PC from the parts in the attic!).

First Gaming PC: Soon to be this one - http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/vdyJ23
