Honestly... nothing.

 

I don't have a ton of money to throw around and thus, I research until I know exactly what I'm looking at and consider what my needs are before my wants and purchase accordingly/watch for sales etc.

My Galaxy S4. I'm starting to really dislike the glossy, slippery plastic back. 

Buy a replacement brushed aluminum back. They're so cheap and look/feel great. I'm getting one as soon as I'm confident enough to take off my case :P

My MacBook. There's so many things that it can't run, damn .exe files. 

VMWare ftw. PM me if you want to learn how to dual boot / run windows alongside OSx.

yeah I know, but I read a lot of reviews on Amazon/Ebay that the aluminum backs blocked reception.

Pretty much every cpu/mobo since my I7 920- currently a 3770k/Maximus V Extreme.

 

Sure benchs show an improvement, but me in everyday use... not so much.

i built my first pc maybe 3 or 4 years ago and I decided to put an Asrock 970 Extreme3 motherboard in it... Worst idea I have ever had. It was around £100 and always gives me issues not to mention I'm pretty certain it has messed with my CPU.

spend ~$1500 on a "gaming laptop. The thing is so completely importable and is stationary as of now. It also barely plays newer games at high settings; I recently got a new PC and built it myself though.

did the exact same thing I also bought a netbook for school which was a horrible idea and then spent on a actual laptop AND then build a desktop.

never again...

When i was first starting out i thought you could make any psu modular, so i took a pair of scissors and went to town on my DADS pc when he came home and was like "what the hell are you doing" i simply responded "don't worry it'll be faster".

 

To this day i still haven't lived that down everyone knew.

 

Also i once snapped a DIMM in half because i was really pissed off.
