So, I follow @lenovo on Twitter, and 2 minutes ago, they posted this..

That scale seems extremely off on the image, plus I don't see how that is possible considering apple couldn't fit any USB (besides type C) onto their macbook.

That's why I said I was still sour with them. Then again, this IS them fixing that problem.. Bad publicity is as important to fix as anything to a company like that.

 

Both not powerful.

Why the fuck would anyone buy the new macbook with a dual core @ 1,1GHz for that price? Just get a macbook air? Someone enlighten me. 

BTW that tiny motherboard in it is really cool I hope that something like the PI with that technology comes out soon.

Gaming and HTPC (reparations)- ASUS 1080, MSI X99A SLI Plus, 5820k- 4.5GHz @ 1.25v, asetek based 360mm AIO, RM 1000x, 16GB memory, 750D with front USB 2.0 replaced with 3.0  ports, 2 250GB 850 EVOs in Raid 0 (why not, only has games on it), some hard drives

Screens- Acer preditor XB241H (1080p, 144Hz Gsync), LG 1080p ultrawide, (all mounted) directly wired to TV in other room

Stuff- k70 with reds, steel series rival, g13, full desk covering mouse mat

All parts black

Workstation(desk)- 3770k, 970 reference, 16GB of some crucial memory, a motherboard of some kind I don't remember, Micomsoft SC-512N1-L/DVI, CM Storm Trooper (It's got a handle, can you handle that?), 240mm Asetek based AIO, Crucial M550 256GB (upgrade soon), some hard drives, disc drives, and hot swap bays

Screens- 3  ASUS VN248H-P IPS 1080p screens mounted on a stand, some old tv on the wall above it. 

Stuff- Epicgear defiant (solderless swappable switches), g600, moutned mic and other stuff. 

Laptop docking area- 2 1440p korean monitors mounted, one AHVA matte, one samsung PLS gloss (very annoying, yes). Trashy Razer blackwidow chroma...I mean like the J key doesn't click anymore. I got a model M i use on it to, but its time for a new keyboard. Some edgy Utechsmart mouse similar to g600. Hooked to laptop dock for both of my dell precision laptops. (not only docking area)

you can see the macbook has a curved bottom if they made the side a straight 90° bent with the bottom it could have fitted the full usb port, essentially apple couldn't fit a full sized usb port due to the way they designed their body, lenovo could because the yoga body is more square

Imo neither is a good design, apple body was designed for looks not functionality, i don't mind that it only has type c, but if they where at least 2 ports, it would be so much better, lenovo problem is that the yoga overheats a lot which is fucking terrible due to already having a low performing cpu for a 2 in 1 that cost more that other hybrids that are faster for less, the thing was rushed just so they can have the title of slimest laptop

Those circles are the 'hinges' that allow the screen to flip all the way back behind the back of the keyboard (making it a tablet) or just in a V shape or whatnot. They basically reinforce the hinges, from what I remember reading.

The buy an air! Still skinny as hell, looks pretty good, and much cheaper with better specs.

Instead of getting a laptop get a tablet. It's easier to carry and setup.

Has everyone forgotten that the Surface Pro 3 is only 9.1 mils thick? Even with the TC3 on it, it's about the same thickness as both of em.

Seriously, the Surface Pro 3 is the most underrated piece of hardware of this decade already.
