honestly I dont mind because they throw it at the end. so I can just stop watching there If I want to.

 

everyone ones. they get their ad money, it doesnt interfere you at all if you dont want. 

 

IE, rather take out 5 minutes at the end then a 30 second ad at the start

Linus has to make money. Hes got a family and a staff, who also has a family, to support. I personally don't mind the sponsors, ads etc.

Intro isn't counted, as it's not really content but it's also sorta of nescessary

After recently moving to Canada from the UK/Ireland, i'd say 40-50% of the viewing content being advertisements is well WELL below what cable TV is broadcasting.

 

Plus it's much less annoying, if i hear that "this is my city" Edmonton song one more time i'm going to start strangling cats.

I really like the free quality content, the community. The sponsors are actually related to tech and almost always are worth considering.

 

I'm an adblock user too, but I don't mind this at all.

 

Ads are inherently a good thing if communicated properly, because it informs people of products and services that they otherwise wouldn't know even existed. It's just abused by so many companies.

LTT videos can be precisely skipped. Cable TV can't.

Nothing to worry about, just another standard "linus hater", his advertisement is also cool as someone has already mentioned, he makes jokes on Dollar shave club, talks about butts when it comes down to One wipe charlie's, and also kicked the shit out of his phone to make some advertisement about phantom glass, so it's perfectly fine for me to watch it, BTW anyone rememers Austin Evans' nipple thing? Yeah, that one was for phantom glass too!

More than ads, I'm annoyed that they still don't know how to make sound level stay between ads and main content. Worst being event coverage where ads are shouting and content is whispering.
