Watching Linus's video about a noctua cooler and hearing him say that he could probably use their mounting system with his eyes closed gave me an idea!

Wouldn't it be fun to see them try to build a whole computer with their eyes closed? It would have to be something with like a video card, aftermarket cooler, multiple storage drives, and a normal case.

I think the hardest part might be getting the front I/O cables plugged into the motherboard but they can figure something out!

It could be a competition, a co-op, or a solo effort.

 

Just think it would be cool...

Luke has already something 'similar' to this. During an event, he built a PC with a horse mask. And from his interview after, it was pretty much the equivalent of making a system blindfolded.

most of that horse head build was done through feel instead of sight - the only issue is the individual headers because different boards do it differently and it can be hard to identify

 

Honestly it's not that hard... there are notches on everything, feel the notch, feel the other notch... line it up... voila

it would be relatively fine if untill you get to the cpu. you can put almost everything else in relatively easy with only feeling stuff

but dont you have to line up the arrow on the cpu wiht the arrow on the motherboard, if you put that in backwards you are screwed

How about they try and build PCs with their eyes closed, with boxing gloves on and getting shot at by the LMG crew with rubber band guns?
