World Cancer Day 2015 Fold the crap out this week!

We did lasts year 2014 edition we topped 10 places it was a blast

 

In honor of WCD 2015 i would ask all of the community to contribute his power for one week during this event!  from the 4th till the 11th of February fold 24/7 for a good cause.

 

 

Taking place under the tagline ‘Not beyond us’, World Cancer Day 2015 will take a positive and proactive approach to the fight against cancer, highlighting that solutions do exist across the continuum of cancer, and that they are within our reach. 

 

The campaign will explore how we can implement what we already know in the areas of prevention, early detection, treatment and care, and in turn, open up to the exciting prospect that we can impact the global cancer burden – for the better. 

World Cancer Day is a unique opportunity to raise awareness that there is much that can be done at an individual, community and governmental level, to harness and mobilise these solutions and catalyse positive change. By moving forward together we have the potential to show: Cancer. It is not beyond us.

No just that you fold for a good cause  if it is in LTT team or alone.

Don't fold all the time since heat... But, when I do on my Dell, I have to watch the motherboard temps.. I may have accidentally hit 75C one.

 

And sometimes my light dims with both computers under full load... And the CPU fan on this dell hits 100% at 5000RPM every now and again for no reason whatsoever.

 

Edit: The Dell averages 16K PPD... Not a lot, but just saying this since I took the screenshot while it was still getting one of the WUs ready.

Installing now I haven't folded in the past because I don't want to strain out my graphics card too much, however for a week it's no problem ^^ do you think I should cpu or gpu fold?

For some reason I can't connect to the control center, it says the connection timed out, any idea why?

I have the latest software and updated the firewall either way I was still able to access the local settings so no huge deal. I'm not sure how to join the ltt team, was setting my team to 223518 enough? Also, what do the points per day indicate exactly? Thanks for the help btw.

That's all you gotta do! And points per day is your "folding points", the better the hardware, the more PPD usually.

make sure you have set the passkey for once you have 10 cpu wu's completed you will get with every cpu wu bonus points.
