What should I review next?

How about, what is the lowest hardware needed to acquire 1080p 60fps in a recent triple A game ?

Ethernet cable insulation, does it matter and how much does it take to interfere ?

Low noise gamer builds.

More on your servers.

I would agree that budget monitors, including an explanation of older tech that's out there and what problems we might run into with it -- would be most welcome.

I actually use cheap 3 x 60Hz 27" panels for my "battlestation". (2 Gateways and an Acer which is essentially a rebadged Gateway.  I bought them all on clearance for $400CDN, all-in, combined). It was an extremely budget conscious choice.

I ended up spending nearly as much on my Ergotech Triple 27" Wide Arm extended monitor stand as I did on all three panels put together.

Is that a good thing or a bad thing. Does it matter all that much where the rubber meets the road and why? And why not? There are so many 27" monitors on sale at Best Buy and some of them are very cheap. What's up with that?

And why not use a TV for 1080p? Or why not use a 4k TV instead? Why and why not?

One of the problems with Scrapyard Wars is that it avoids the monitor discussion on older gear and its trade-offs due to its central premise. That's a discussion worth having at some length.

I got something that's HOLY $H!T worthy: The Simpit Icarus 270 - Centurion

It's actually not as expensive as one might expect and it would work with more games and other apps than your typical HMD because from what I understand it's software uses the NV surround single-pseudo-display approach, but the downside is still the overall price considering you'll need 3 beamers and even if those are 1080p you'll end up with a slightly worse resolution than VR; plus the setup seem a bit tedious as seen in the video below.

There is also a cheaper 180° version that only needs 2 beamers which might make it a little more compelling in terms of price (and performance)

Spoiler

This may also be a reason an excuse to review the brand new Saitek X-56 which is basically just the X-55 with 2 thumb sticks and RGB lighting :P

I'd kinda like to see some retro reviews. Like, proper old school stuff. Maybe not from a performance point of view, but discussing the historical aspects of stuff, how they influenced computing at the time, etc. Ie. reviews of the first pentium processors in the context of the time they first came out, or maybe windows 3.1. It could be a whole new video series 'The Retro Couch, with Linus'. Or something. Personally, being relatively new to computing and PC building, I'd like to know a bit more about where things came from, how (eg) graphics cards first became must have components, etc.

Just a thought :)

Is it just me, or am I itching to see a review of The New Razer Blade (2016) and possibly the Razer Core?

I'd also LOVE to see a comparison of the aforementioned Razer Blade and the Dell XPS 15 9550.

It's not particularly suited to your channel but it could be cool to mix it up a bit. I recently bought a Bluetooth controlled LED bulb called the Elgato Aura. It was only £19.99 on amazon and is a great alternative if you can't afford a phillips hue and don't need to be able to control it over wifi.

I think it would be cool to compare performance in gaming, video editing/rendering etc between 1st and 6th gen processors. You could do like Intel i7 1st Gen vs Intel i7 6th Gen to see if there are any significant performance advantages that would make it unable to do certain tasks like gaming and if it would be good for a cheap build to buy an older processor instead of a brand new one.

Do a video in the raspberry pi. They are really cheap, and very useful.

it would be awesome to review some car audio because I am a audiophile when it comes to car audio and there really is not a good resource online to find non biased reviews on this. All of the reviews are by company's such as crutchfield which are selling the products so I do not feel like I can trust them.

I just read an article about RemixOS today and have the install downloading as I type. Would be really interesting to see an LTT video on it.
