It shouldn't be posted in the first place. No, you aren't a special little snowflake that's different who thought of this thread first, it exists. A lot of them do. One needs to be stickied and everyone directed at that instead of creating more of these nonsense, garbage threads.

i once made a bass guitar with a rhino hide drum and my BF of the time's bow string. (he wasnt too happy that i trashed his thousand dollar bow)

 

sounded alright, was small and useable. i liked it.

well... it was a thousand dollar bow that i totaled and a 200 dollar bow string that i cut into three...

 

also we were light wieght druggies back then and were always doing dumb ****...

then we broke up.

it sounded pretty cool too. 

i only call it a bass guitar because it was low,, but im not too sure you could really call it a guitar either... 

 

it was the one frettless instrument that i enjoyed playing. i have a feeling a jazz/funk/brazillian kinda sound would have been a good match.
