The ones that were like little boxes with faces on them? Are they any good?

The brand is Cheero but I don't know anything about them. I'm sure it's a fine brand though. I personally use Anker battery banks.

yeah but anker makes some good stuff too.. the ones you are talking about were featured on 'Cool tech items under 100$' :)

Are anker a reliable. high quality brand? i don't wanna buy one of those third party battery packs that last around 2 months then die out on you completely. I'm looking at buying the 16000mAh battery pack for when i go travelling to charge my iPhone, iPad etc.
