Some players never get it, fun is not always getting the most kill counts but the most fun. Ever stalk a particular clan and try to knife their whole squad if not team in BF3/4? Sure you take a ton of kills but taking their tags and then hiding out so they can't get the revenge kill is priceless. Not to mention finding spawn beacons and camping them after getting kill a ton of times because, well you're right at their spawn beacon. Its best to not blow up a beacon but add yours at a spot hidden from theirs, let the killing begin :D

BF2 was the beginning of the car bomb attack, can't get enough of that one, jeep loaded with C4 vs a Tank, let it be!

I roll with sigs off so I have no idea what you're advertising.

This is NOT the signature you are looking for.

Why do people spend so much money on a gaming computer that when they are not good at the game that they play? An example would be someone with a $2000 PC that is Silver 2 in CSGO

I don't see a problem with this? Not everyone is good at video games. Sure I see your logic but maybe they just really enjoy playing the game and want to do so with a great experience? Just because they aren't good doesn't mean they don't want to enjoy the game to its full potential. Also maybe they play other games on it too, or just have the money to do so.

You do realize Paris Hilton's fame and fortune comes from inheritance and being a spoiled skank that had a sex tape leaked right? She can afford these things, but she doesn't deserve them.

Paris Hilton's background has what to do with what? The OP was talking about the concept of not being good at something you can afford quality tools for, and you come up with sex tapes and skanks?

You know the saying "there is no such thing as a dumb question"?

Sorry OP, but that is a super dumb question.

I have a ROG Swift. Actually, i lie. I have 3 ROG Swifts and i use to watch porn. Is it wrong that i use $3000 worth of monitors for that purpose? No, because watching porn is never wrong.

Bad players with good PCs = jelly OP

I wasn't replying to OP, I was replying to your genius analogy of Paris Hilton and the cars she deserves to buy.

Read your first post you slowly, then read my reply slowly, then shut your computer down, dim the lights and think about it for awhile and maybe you can contemplate what I was getting at.

I suck at video editing, doesn't mean i can't pay adobe for a CC subscription and invest in better equipment. If the person who is playing it enjoys the hard work/time/money they put into their machine then they should enjoy it.

I have a 7970 and an i7 4790 and the most demanding game I play is Payday 2. So computer building is a hobby for me and I like to work with high end parts.

I keep reading it slowly over and over, but  it just keeps coming out "JB780 is a twat who's attacking people in a thread with unrelated commentary..." over and over. Is that close enough for you to stop helping me out now? Maybe if I could afford a more expensive computer to read this on?

I used to play tribes comp. If you wanted to do good better your turned your graphics down low and played with a special .ini

This. I facepalm everytime I see someone play SC2 online with the game not on low settings, medium textures. Might seem pretty when you're a 30apm player, but once you near the 200 mark, simple shapes are a godsend

What I will add is that people who spend money on expensive keyboards/mice, expecting that it will improve their gameplay, that's another facepalm moment. I've seen plenty of pro-SC2 players who still use $10 membrane keyboards, because they prefer them to expensive mechanical keyboards

Tomorrow you log into Newegg and put two GTX 980s into the shopping cart. As you hit the checkout button Newegg demands that you log in with steam.

After logging in with steam Newegg proceeds to scan your account, after seeing that you aren't 5k mmr in dota, or Global elite in CS:GO you are denied service and are unable to buy your graphics cards. In a fit of desperation you borrow your friend's rig, and his 144hz monitor. When you boot it up its only at 60hz until you send in credentials that show you are good at a game before you're able to enable the 144hz functionality, because only pro players are allowed to use that one.

All of this makes uh... total sense?

If someone enjoys seeing better graphics I would totally support them buying a better graphic cards. However if your buying a computer so you can play better  your subconsciously shifting  blame somewhere else. Their is some cases where a better computer or maybe even a mouse can make you play better however there is point where it doesn't benefit you at all. There is no need to go from  12 GB of ram to 32 GB for league of legends.

So you have any idea how much ram chrome uses. You need a 2000 dollar rig to handle Facebook in Chrome

This is a really silly question. Ignorant even. You don't have to be good at something to enjoy it. And you don't have to play one game either. And if that someone spent $2000 it clearly wasn't meant for cs go alone. Bf4 is very demanding. That would be like buying a lambo to drive it around the neighborhood.

Actually i did buy a race car to take it to the drag strip, but then i sold my truck n trailer, so i have no way of taking it out the driveway, i sit in it and crank it up to piss off the neighbors every now and then.  lol

how are you going to get better at a game if you don't have the system to run it on? You may say "consoles", but then I would become King, because the day I become King is the day when anyone on this forum suggests "consoles". I didn't become a badass TF2 player from watching it being played on youtube (truth is I'm still not.)

Go find the computer spec of one of the Cloud9 CS:GO player, and then compare it to Linus' personal PC spec.

You get the point.

Few years ago I was dual-core gaming HoN "Dota copy", and the team fights had this odd frame skipping where my skills did simply disappear between the frames so that it took 1-3 clicks to actually do the action. For similar comparison, the random BF4 Mantle memory leak is pretty much the same, which causes the frames flicker between 10-100fps and the gun wont simply fire half at the time.

But sure, my friend had solid rig for WoW and he was failing awfully a lot, so it did work far better when I just forced my friend to play simple spec instead of the Gamer-Approved-Spec, and I was surprised to see him actually killing someone at Arena! :D "Sublety 12 button hell -> spam Backstab"

You're reading this. Why are you reading this?
