Its actually just depth perception I think! The piece of fish was cut into a rectangle but the tail of the fish tapers off a bit giving a bit of a triangle look from that angle.

Well I know how to do that, if I didn't I would probably be dead by now. I can't make a good omelette. And its killing me. I suck at doing anything out of the ordinary with cooking I always get it wrong. 

This is going to sound unhelpful but it works... get better at it.

 

For example, I sucked at even making eggs. I just kept trying and improving so that now I can make a damn good omelette without even thinking. It's not hard per se, just takes a bit of effort and willingness to learn where you went wrong. At least with cooking ther's not a lot of guessing in that, if you burn something it's obvious where you screwed up.

Low heat, wait maybe about 2 minutes before flipping and about 1 minute before folding.

I would rather make a pizza. (not that I have done that ever either)

Oh, homemade pizzas... :D They're so good :D You can make them whoever you want (for me it's extra cheese and ketchup.... Hell, for me it's extra everything :D) :D You've got to try it :D You have those frozen pizza crusts :D Use them :D That way it's as easy as installing Windows, maybe even easier :D

do a youtube search for no knead bread its basically mix and cover.

I just take that recipe and make it a bit more watery, portion off into separate plastic containers enough for a pizza. this can be done in 5 minutes. toss those things in the fridge overnight the longer you leave it the better it gets up to 4 maybe 5 days, 3 is ideal.

 

when you get home pull one of those containers out of the fridge and let it sit and warm stretch it out after it gets warm. pizza sauce can be as simple as a can of puree'd tomatoes

 

the key to being lazy and not having to wait for dough is to keep cycling a new batch of dough after you use one. use 1 make 2 use 1 make 2. if a dough sits too long turn it into garlic bread

edit: getting tempted to make a brick pizza oven for the backyard this summer.

Never heard about that method, but i like old, method better :P There's no way you can make something better than that :D

 

3 days? This is not acceptable. Food needs to be available right away :P

Then make it 3 days before you want to eat it :P This about the future :P

you're telling me that there is going to be a time in your life where you'd say no to a pizza? this is about keeping a pizza production going constant pizza in your life.

3 days is optimal. sufficient leavening can be seen in as little as 6 hours.

Well, since my family buy pasta bags by 10's (my father atleast), i don't eat that particular brand... It's 2~ times more expensive than the stuff i usually eat (it's called Danubius)...
