You know you're a techie when. . .

When you correct the grammar of someone whom is likely not from a primarily English speaking country.

Oh wait, I think that makes me an asshole.

But in all seriousness, I know I'm a nerd when people look at me confused after they ask what kind of phone I have.

I have an HTC One M8 in Gunmetal Grey, running SkyDragon's GPE 5.0 Lollipop ROM with a 2.5GHz overclock on the CPU and a 500MHz overclock on the GPU.

For most people, the first part is fine. When they hear the ROM part, they get lost, and when I talk clockspeeds they get even more lost.

Okay, I have the same but with ViperOneM8 4.3. I never tell people my ROM or clock speed, because no one I know will understand, so I don't even bother.

"Who."   :)  Subject versus object.

"English-speaking country."   Compound adjective. ;)

When you spend 3 hrs looking at a Sapphire R9 290X , admiring , drooling over the design , or looking at the TITAN X from EVGA .... SO .... SEXY ....

... Life is a game and the checkpoints are your birthday , you will face challenges where you may not get rewarded afterwords but those are the challenges that help you improve yourself . Always live for tomorrow because you may never know when your game will be over ... I'm totally not going insane in anyway , shape or form ... I just have broken English and an open mind ...

when you say something technical and everyone is like "what"

It's more like you say ANYTHING and they be like "wut?"

Oh, and when the IT department wonders how the hell you fixed "that"

Also, when you consider your pc more important than your living quarters and vehicle.

You know your a nerd when Ni is an insult and you know why they have a machine that goes "ping".

Grammar and spelling is not indicative of intelligence/knowledge.  Not having the same opinion does not always mean lack of understanding.
