"Gamers Start Petition To Keep Old Corsair Logo"

timerwin63

-snip-

Just goes to show that you're a moron who expects everyone else to think likewise...

Apart from the technology behind their products and build quality, the main seller is the design, they've always kept a sleek, classy look, part of it is the logo.

They took a huge dump on a big part of their fans and clients by doing this, they didn't even leave an option.

“The mind of the bigot is like the pupil of the eye; the more light you pour upon it the more it will contract” -Oliver Wendell Holmes “If it can be destroyed by the truth, it deserves to be destroyed by the truth.” -Carl Sagan

I could not possibly care less what their logo looks like. I'll still buy their products as long as they remain good quality.

What does the new logo symbolize anyway?

The old logo simbolized a ship,a corsair, just like the name of the company.

The Corsair Gaming logo looks badass. Not sure why petition Corsair to take it away when Razer gets away with that ugly snake shit on their products...

I'm on CorsairGeorge's side from what you posted.

Almost everyone who is upset about a stupid logo are acting like children who didn't get their way, so they're going to cry about it instead of being civilized.

The people who "get upset about a stupid logo" are the very people Corsair is attempting to appeal to.  Otherwise, why would they change branding?

I would like the new logo more if it wasn't so stereotypically "gamer" The ridiculous sharp edges and all that is just not what I expect from corsair. If it was just a pair of crossed cutlasses with "Corsair Gaming" underneath, I would be happy, as it fits the pirate theme of corsairs name and previous logo. As Linus said in the K70 review, Corsair is a fairly small rogue pirate in the see of MASSIVE companies in it's spaces. This new logo looks like a bad fantasy MMO logo, not Corsair. That's just my 2 cents.

The logo simply just doesn't fit their products.
The old logo was simple and clean and looked professional just like their products do.
It just doesn't look good and the logo on the top alone would make me buy the normal K70 instead of the RGB version and I'm not the only one.
If I'm going to pay 140-170€ for a keyboard it better look perfect.

It all makes so much sense now.  The new logo was made by, and for crab people.

Almost everyone? Most of the posts on OC seems to be very reasonable and calm. It's not just "baww they took our logo!".

What does the new logo symbolize anyway?

The old logo simbolized a ship,a corsair, just like the name of the company.

It symbolizes how edgy Corsair's new peripherals are.
