Dual-boot machine with Winders 7 and Linux Mint 15 XFCE...I loathe Ubuntu with Unity.

If SteamOS isn't too niche and functions like a typical desktop, just with Steam everywhere, I might give that a try for funsies.

Win 8.1 on both my desktop and laptop.

I use 8 mainly because it's really snappy versus Windows 7.  And it's newer.

It takes some more tinkering to set things up the way I want them, but hey, I like tinkering.

I used to dual boot Windows and Linux Mint, but now I just run Mint in a VM.  It's a lot easier.

I'm running a hackintosh (As in my signature) which I use Mac OS X 10.8.5 as my main OS for everyday things including my design work etc, and then I use Windows 8 (With StartIsBack, which is like the best thing ever) for any gaming, and anything else which may require windows. It's a nice balance. And for Mobile OS I use iOS 7 on my iPhone 5 (Soon to be 5S when it's released in New Zealand) and iPad 4 (maybe and upgrade to that soon too).

CPU i5 4430 3Ghz | Ram: 16GB DDR3 1600 | GPU: GTX 650 Ti 1GB | Mobo: H87N-Wifi | Case: White Bitfenix Prodigy | Boot Drive: 120GB 840 Evo (Mac OS X) 120gb OCZ Vertex 3 (Windows) | Games Drive: 640GB WD Green | OS: Windows 8 & OS X 10.9.1

I love all technology. The perfection of macs for my designer side, and the hardware and fun of tinkering on the of the pc side. We can have it all, just not at the same time.
